Download MCP.
Extract MCP to a new folder.
Download the latest recommended Forge source.
Extract that to the MCP folder.
Run the "MCP/forge/install.bat" file you just extracted.
Add the "co" folder from this zip to "MCP/src/minecraft" folder.
Place your Model files (exported from Techne) into "MCP/src/minecraft/co/uk/flansmods/client/model"
Open your model files and change the class they extend from "ModelBase" to "ModelAAGun", "ModelPlane", "ModelVehicle" or "ModelMG", and then rename all the model parts accordingly. Look at the other examples provided if you need help.
Open "MCP/src/minecraft/co/uk/flansmods/common/modellinghelper/ModModellingHelper.java" and add your model to the register list and import it too. Again, look at what is already there to see what to do.
Place your textures in "MCP/bin/minecraft/skins" or "MCP/eclipse/bin/minecraft/skins" if you are using Eclipse.
If you are using Eclipse, just debug, spawn a Modelling Helper item and right click on the ground. Right click it again to cycle through models.
If you are not using Eclipse, run "MCP/recompile.bat", "MCP/startclient.bat" and do as above with the item.
Once you are happy with your model, run "MCP/recompile.bat" and "MCP/reobfuscate.bat"
Then take the files in "MCP/reobf/minecraft" and place them in your content pack in the "models" directory.
